WHAT TO PACK
Before you head to Nkwichi, we will need to arrange with you the inputs for our version of self-catering. We will share with you suggested menus, and with your input will devise a recommended shopping list. Here a few things you might like to consider packing for your stay.
Important: You should always travel with soft bags, not hard suitcases, so that bags can fit into small aircraft and boats. If you are using a small plane at ANY point getting to or from Nkwichi Lodge then your bags should not exceed 15kg per person.
Please note that there are no card facilities at Nkwichi Lodge. We request that you bring cash to pay for your bar bills, activities and in case you choose to tip the staff. Mozambican Metical, Malawi Kwacha or US Dollars are preferable – any US$ notes should be 2013 or newer.
